Peer Mentorship is where our whole mission comes to life: students lifting students.
We match motivated high school leaders with younger peers who might be shy, unsure, or quietly slipping through the cracks. At first, mentees think they're signing up for help with school. Very quickly, it turns into something bigger: a safe space to talk about friendships, goals, and what it means to believe in yourself.
Mentors share real strategies they use - how to bounce back from a bad grade, stay focused when life is loud, or speak up in class for the first time. We weave in check-ins about homework and test prep, but we never lose sight of character: resilience, kindness, and the courage to try hard things. Families see students who participate start raising their hands more, joining clubs, and actually looking forward to school. Donors see their support grow the next generation of leaders - both the high school mentors and the younger students who begin to see, "Someone like me can lead, too."
