Alexander Shaitanoff

Alexander Shaitanoff is a co-founder and co-president of Lift Up Learners, Inc., bringing a strong background in academics and athletics. Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, he attended the Long Island School for the Gifted before moving to Sarasota in 2022 to join Pine View School.

Alexander is a member of Mensa International, the National Honor Society, and the Center for Talented Youth Honor Roll. He has earned the Presidential Outstanding Academic Excellence Award and excelled in academic competitions, including regional championships in NACLO, the National History Bee, the International Geography Bee, and the National Science Bee.

His athletic journey transitioned from competitive gymnastics, where he achieved national recognition and made the state team in 2020, to competitive rowing with Sarasota Crew, earning the Scholar Athlete Award. Alexander is also a dedicated volunteer with Sarasota youth organizations such as Teen Court and the Boys and Girls Club, where he completed the Star Leadership Program. As the oldest of four children, Alexander enjoys playing piano, reading world literature, and speaks two languages. He shares his home with two dogs, reflecting his love for family and community.
